Boulder City Christmas events

We had some Christmas fun of our own while we were in Boulder City. Nolan and I went to the Boulder City Christmas parade. It was so fun. They do it at night and the parade entries are decorated with Christmas lights. The parade ends with the arrival of you know who...Santa Claus! Nolan would get excited over the big sets of lights and the cars and motorcycles that would rev their engines (he's such a boy!).

We also went to our ward Christmas party. It was such a great event! They fed us a delicious turkey dinner, we watched a slideshow of pictures from the year, sang Christmas songs together, enjoyed the reading of the Christmas story from the scriptures, and then the kids got to meet Santa! This was Nolan's first meeting. He did great. He just had a real pensive look on his face, but no tears or fears.

Finally, Nolan and I made an ornament of Nolan's hand imprint. It was so cute and his little hand is just so precious. He loved pressing his hand in the mold. We did it about 5 times before we finally let it start drying.

It was fun getting into the Christmas spirit with Nolan. He got pretty good at saying Santa which of course was adorable :)!

Here is a slideshow of pictures from those few events.
