Halloween!

Well, now that it is December 1st we thought maybe we should put up some pictures of Halloween! :) November got crazy fast. For family home evening before Halloween we carved pumpkins. Blaine had about 20 different creative designs for his pumpkin. He was done cleaning out and carving his pumpkin in about 15 minutes. He is a pro! I took quite a bit longer and came up with a really difficult carving idea for some crazy reason. Blaine was nice and helped me to clean mine out and carve my crazy letters to spell spooky. They turned out pretty good though and it was fun! :)

We were really looking forward to our first trick or treaters coming to our house this year. We set up some fake black and white cobwebs right outside our front door and set out our pumpkins. We even made a sign that said "trick or treaters welcome". Well, we had 2 kids come over. They were brothers and they were our home teachers kids. Oh well, we'll try again next year. We'll have to advertise King size candy bars or something.

The night of Halloween we had some friends over to play games. We had pizza and snacks too of course. Everyone came dressed up which was great! It was a lot of fun! Luckily, with all of this excitement we still got to bed a decent time...that is very important these days.
