Tunnels Hike

A couple of weeks ago the weather was so perfect and Blaine had some time one Saturday afternoon so we went for a hike. We went out to Lake Mead to do the tunnels hike. There used to be train tracks going alongside the lake that were made to help haul in materials for the building of the Hoover Dam. The train tracks are no longer there, but there is a hiking trail along the path that goes through the tunnels all the way to the Dam. We had high hopes of making it at least to the first tunnel with our 2 small children...BUT Nolan's bladder wasn't interested and he just couldn't go pee pee on a rock! Regardless, we had a nice time walking around and being outside.

We did find this "tunnel" that Nolan didn't hesitate to crawl through.
