4th of July

For the 4th of July we of course celebrated in Boulder City with the annual Damboree! Jody and her family came and joined us for part of the day and some of our med school friends came over for the parade too. The weather actually wasn't too bad so being outside was nice. The parade was fun as always since it turns into a huge water fight! We went to the park and enjoyed some hamburgers and running around in the grass time.

That night Blaine headed to St. George for his first medical licensing board exam and the kids and I went up to Jody's to continue celebrating. We swam in their pool, had a delicious bbq dinner and did fireworks. Nolan wasn't too sure about the fireworks though. He kept calling them "firemen" which was pretty cute.

After a little more play time, instead of heading home to quiet house I decided to stay the night at Jody's house. It was a great decision because in the morning my cousin Jared made a delicious breakfast! It sure was nice to be with family and to celebrate our independence! We are so blessed!
