We're back...and here's where we went.

We have returned from a 12 day road trip/family reunion. It was a great trip with many ups and a few downs! Here is how it all began...

We left on Tuesday July 21st and took our sweet time getting out the door and driving to Utah. It was great not being in a rush at all and a good start to the many days of driving we head before us.

We made it to Alpine, UT that night at about 8:30pm after a few gas stops, a Subway lunch break, and a few other rest stops. Our friends Richie and Angell stopped by to hang out for a bit. It was so fun to stay up and talk with them just like old times!

The next day we headed down to Orem to run some errands (getting my ring cleaned at Goldsmith's...I love that place!) and getting our spare tire fixed that we had forgotten to get repaired before we left. That afternoon we had a BBQ with some old Orem friends at a park we used to always have BBQ's. It was so fun seeing old friends...the Cuell's, Richie and Angell and my old roomie Christi.

Next, we headed to Ogden to see our friends Eric and Allison and their baby Blade...well not really a baby anymore. We had a great dinner with them and our boys got to spend time playing together. They are just 2 or so months apart. It was so fun spending time with our old friends! Blaine lived with Eric for many years and have been friends for a long time. We love when we get the chance to spend time with them.
